Keeping Our Promise to Restore Matawan

Improve Our Neighborhoods

While our opponents have opposed every public investment, the Restore Matawan Team has fought to improve our local parks and roads. We are committed to improving our public spaces and the places where we live.

A Real Plan To Lower Our Tax Burden

We can lower our property tax burden by unleashing the value of Matawan’s Train Station area. Take a look at The Link in Aberdeen to see $300,000+ in tax relief. Our opponents are against the Train Station Redevelopment Plan.

Share & Consolidate Services

We will continue to streamline municipal services that cut costs for Matawan taxpayers. To date, the Restore Matawan Team has consolidated construction department, municipal court, and code enforcement.

“We’ve come a long way in fixing up Matawan’s public buildings,
parks, and roads, but there is so much more we can do with our
Train Station and Main Street – let’s keep working to Restore
Matawan!”
— Mayor Joe Altomonte
