1. Despite the challenges of COVID-19 we're bringing our residents safe and socially distanced events like our family nights under the stars and lakeside dining.
2. Gravelly Brook Park—New basketball court, playground, baseball, and soccer fields are now completed.
3. Utilized community development grants to restore Main Street with new curbs, sidewalks, benches, and streetlights.
4. Repaved 22 roads since 2015, using $1.5 million in grants.
5. Renegotiated with Monmouth County to replace the Lake Lefferts Dam saving Matawan $1.8 million.

6. Raising Aberdeen Rd above flood levels for the first time in 100 years. This will be funded by Monmouth County as a part of the Lake Lefferts Dam agreement.
7. Partnered with NJ Transit for train station redevelopment. Proposals for revitalization areas by the train station are being solicited.
8. We worked with Washington Engine Co. #1 to replace their aging 30-year old fire truck.
9. Refurbished the Clinton St. Park basketball court.
10. Utilized Historic Preservation grants to restore Burrowes Mansion – Matawan’s revolutionary treasure.

16. Expanded the Borough’s recreational offerings, like movie nights, senior events, lakefront amenities, and community gatherings.
17. We created the new Environmental Commission and Economic Business Council.
18. Storefront Revitalization Program—We waive inspection fees for new businesses opening in vacant storefronts.
19. Abandoned gas station by the train station has been torn down, after being an eyesore for at least 40 years.
