Keeping Our Promise to Restore Matawan

Stabilizing Taxes to get out of the adp

The County's Assessment Demonstration Program adjusts assessments on Matawan taxpayers every year. Regardless of local government budgets, many homeowners see annual tax increases anyway. We've taken the first steps to get out of the County Tax Board's assessment rollercoaster and will continue to fight for our taxpayers.

TOWNWIDE INVESTMENT THAT BENEFITS ALL OF US

With the recently purchased Bank of America & Maghan properties, parking downtown will be easier, allowing greater access to the downtown, shops, restaurants and Burrowes Mansion, making Matawan a popular destination. We will also turn the old police station into a public use space including a public park. The investment in our downtown is paying off!

PARKS AND PUBLIC SPACES

With Clinton Street Park recently completed, Terhune Park, a popular park downtown, is up next! the renovation will create an enhanced space for kids to play, families to sit and enjoy, and serve as a spot for community events. We continue to prioritize public spaces for our residents to enjoy!
